I felt cold, but at the same time I knew it might warm up in the afternoon. I felt most comfortable in this, so I decided to stick with it. 
I am feeling a little bit blah, and maybe it is because my hair is starting to seem out of place on me. I am going back to curls tomorrow. Still having trouble deciding whether I want blunt bangs or not. Hair and make up are areas I have the most difficulty, and that is very bad considering if I wanted to be a stylist I need to be able to imagine the whole “look. I’d like to say I am improving since I have tried changing how I style my hair everyday, but I have a long way to go with that.
I am also in spring cleaning mode! My apartment is fairly clean now, but it is time to start going through all my stuff (including clothes) and attempt to let go of things. With that said I might make a couple of extra dollars parting with some of my clothes. Wish me luck!

I have been waiting for a day where I could wear an extraordinary amount of color! I like that it is not an eye-sore and that the colors work well together.
I’ve been a busy bee lately, so I am surprised I caught up with my posts and will do my best to keep them daily. I failed to post yesterday because I was tackling the insane job of organizing my closet. While I am not the messiest person I know (I am in fact a neat freak), working everyday and traveling back home so frequently has placed the closet on the back of my mind and it it eventually became hard to navigate around. Now it is clean, organized, and I have a section that I cannot decide whether I should keep or let go. The problem with shopping at thrift stores is that some items are the right price when experimenting with different styles. I have a better understanding of what works for me, but you can’t know until you try.
Tomorrow looks like it will be warmer, but I can’t decide if I want to dress girly or wear some J Brand jeans and wedges! Ah decisions, decisions!

The dress and wedges are from Crossroads Trading Co, the blazer is from Goodwill, and the bag and scarf were gifts from my parents. 
I was going for an army/ camo color palette, and I had the shoes in my closet since May waiting for the right day to be worn. They were comfortable until the last hour of the day! It might have been because I am not used to being so tall! We’ll see if these are packed and taken on my Vegas trip coming up this weekend!
I might not post tomorrow because I will be in cupcake decorating mode. Wish me luck and until next time!

Since I am young, I sometimes feel like I need to dress up to be taken seriously. That, and because I love to do it!
This dress has been in my closet for a couple of months now, so it is about time I wore it.  I love the classic cut and simple champagne and black color combo. It is the DVF Dora and I found her at Crossroads Trading Co.
I am super inspired, and not from my outfit! I decided to make some awesome cupcakes this week and I have already purchased most of my decorating supplies! Just need a few more items before I can start working on my project. Hopefully I’ll be sharing what I’ve made in an upcoming post.

I was dressed down (and rocking a bright green Member’s Only Jacket), but I did not take a full outfit shot. 
Since I went to work dressed down, I felt I needed to really step it up with my outfit today. It was cloudy, and I felt the pretty colors in this outfit were necessary for the day (as well as the sequins and ruffles.)
I love this outfit, especially because, aside from the ring everything, is thrifted. My favorite question at work was if I made the outfit. I am glad that I was able to find the pieces in 3 different locations and put it together because they seem as if they were meant for each other. If only I had worn it to a party, but then again everyday is one for me when I enter my closet.
