Armando and I returned from Italy and had the chance to do some exploring a little closer to home.

It’s the first day of Fall, and I am finally starting to feel excited about Fall fashion and the upcoming holidays.

While I was in LA for the Fourth of July weekend, I packed this leg-exposing maxi dress I received courtesy of Tobi. I wore it while checking out the festival stalls in near Huntington Beach, but I will admit I was not wearing these Manolo Blahnik heels.
For the holiday weekend, Armando and I decided to take a road trip down to LA. We wanted to visit Disneyland for our anniversary and see some sights in the area like the pier in Santa Monica.
Summer is officially here and so is the heat. We’ve been experiencing a lot of sun in the Bay Area and I am so excited to be able to wear the summer dresses I’ve stockpiled throughout the year.
When I initially thought about going on a hot air balloon ride, I envisioned a cute summer dress and wicker basket. (I also did not envision a proposal, which you can read more about on this post.) I am glad I didn’t entertain that thought for long since Armando had booked our sunrise flight, where we would start our flight a 6 AM and the high altitude suggested we should probably wear plenty of layers.
