I have so much in store that I can’t wait to share with you all. I have photos and tips from Posh Fest in my queue and a couple of fun reviews as well as some Fall cupcakes perfect for tanksgiving dinner or any other get-together this Fall.
I am excited to announce I’ll be hosting my third Poshmark party tomorrow night on the app. Poshmark shared a brief preview of what I’ll be sharing to the party on their blog, but I hope you’ll join in on the fun. The theme is Moments of Chic. If you don’t have the app, you can sign up if you have an iOS or Android device and enter my referral code HAEWR for a $5 shopping credit.
Today’s outfit post features this Kate Spade skirt I scored on ThredUp which I feel is very chic. It fit a little too big, but I thought I would see how it looked when it was belted. It looked fine, but I was not convinced I should keep it since it was not the perfect fit for me. Luckily, ThredUp has an amazing return policy and I ended up buying another dress from there since I happened to be on the site again. I paired the striped skirt with a classic v-neck wool sweater and my faux thigh-high stockings from HauteLegs. The booties and hat completed this Fall look.
I was recently sent a bag by Thredup to use and sell items to them, so I am debating doing that since I’ve read some mixed reviews about that. When items don’t sell on my Poshmark closet, and I need space, I typically sell items to Crossroads Trading Co. and donate what doesn’t sell. I like to keep the clutter in my closet/studio under control, but sometimes that isn’t always possible. I might give this clean-out bag a try and see how it goes.
Hope your week has been great so far and until next time!

Happy Monday!
I attended Posh Fest over the weekend in SF, and I can’t believe that it is already over! It felt like it flew by, but I learned a lot of tips that should make their way over to a post soon. I know I’ll be doing a recap of photos I took and it won’t take a year to post those this time. It ended on a great note and  I am so grateful to be a part of the +Poshmark community. It’s been great being able to resell items I no longer wear and make extra cash to facilitate my shopping habits, but it has been even better connecting with so many amazing people through the app and in real life. I loved being recognized and meeting the people behind the amazing closets I follow.
I had a lot of fun dressing up for the two day conference. Sunday’s outfit actually used the top I have in this post. It is from LE TOTE, and I ended up purchasing it because of how versatile it is. I have worn it so many times already, I am surprised it took me so long to decide to purchase it. I’ve worn it with cargo pants and flats, black pants and tan booties and these cuffed bermuda shorts. I also bought the necklace in this post from LE TOTE since I was able to wear it with a lot of the items thanks to it’s neutral colors.
This morning I reached for a sweater, but the past few weeks have been warm enough to ignore typical Fall outfits. I want to wear boots, scarves and sweaters, but I am still able to wear shorts and short sleeve jackets. I like that the floral pattern on my jacket/dress works with the color palette of my outfit. I am not the only one that likes to wear this dress as a jacket, as you can see from my blogger friends Carlina and Donna. It is a great transitional piece, and if you don’t have it, you can always find one on Poshmark.
From this outfit, I am also really excited to introduce you to my new Kate Spade handbag. She is a birthday gift from my parents and I love how sleek and structured this bag is. Armando got me a matching black Laurie zip around phone wallet that I use everyday as his gift to me for my birthday. I can’t wait to share more outfits with this bag, but this was officially the first outfit I styled with it. I’ve been using it everyday and am very pleased with it and I love how the gold zippers open up for two extra pockets!
Hope you are having a great start to your week! I am looking forward to a day off tomorrow for Veteran’s Day. Time for some much needed relaxation after this weekend and a chance to clean up the mess in my closet.

Fall Neutrals

Black and Tan Wrap Dress  Diane von Furstenberg (here), Key Necklace Forever 21 (similar here), Gold Wrapped Arrow Ring Tilly’s (similar here), Nude Ulltra Patent Heels Steve Madden (similar here), Black Voyage Tote JustFab, Le Rouge Carmin Escape 306 Lipstick Givenchy (here)I can’t believe we are at the end of the month and also how warm Fall has been here in the Bay Area. Lucky for me I have been able to get more wear out of my dresses and skirts. I found this wrap dress at Crossroads Trading Co. on West Carlos Street, and loved how much leg it shows despite having a longer hem than my other dresses. The tan color also makes this dress a little bit more unique, but you can also wrap belt differently to show less of the tan color. I found this exact dress on The Real Real in case you need it in your wardrobe like I felt I did. I paired it with neutral heels and bag and added the gold accessories. I loved the wrapped arrow ring, but lately I have not been able to find it so I’ve been wondering if it is lost forever (I hope not!)
I am really excited for Halloween tomorrow and to wear my DIY Halloween costume to work. It is food related if you want to guess what I’ll be (and no, it is not a cupcake.) What will you be dressing up as this year? I didn’t have a chance to make any Halloween themed cupcakes this month, but maybe I’ll get around to making some this weekend.
Hope you are having a great week and until next time,

Coral and Navy Pleats

Coral Bow Front Blouse Odille | Coral Cream Navy Color Block Pleated Skirt Forever 21 (here) | Trench Coat Banana Republic Factory Store | Camera Necklace Kate Spade | Nadia Arrowhead Bracelet Adia K via LE TOTE (similar here) | Nude Ruffle Satchel Steve Madden | Bone Miminette 70 Patent Calf Kitten Heels  Christian Louboutin | The change in the weather has finally caught up to me. I caught a cold and spent last weekend recovering, but luckily I had some TLC from my mom. Mothers always know what to do when you are not feeling your best, and I appreciate that mine took good care of me.

Today’s outfit features a skirt and top I found at Crossroads Trading Co. I loved how  the coral colors matched perfectly, and this is another instance where my mom helped me out with her input on the outfit. We were shopping together and she gave me a nod of approval when I stepped out of the fitting room with these pieces on. The camera necklace is one of my favorite pieces lately and it was a gift from a friend for my birthday. I am also really loving the arrowhead bracelet, which is a rental from LE TOTE. I am planning on keeping this piece because it works well on its own, but it can also work stacked with some other pieces. I wore this outfit before I caught my cold, but now I am back to feeling like how I did when Armando took these photos.

This week I had enough energy to attend a party hosted by ClassPass at StuidoMix in SF on Tuesday. I took a barre class, and this is my second time taking one. I am still not sure how I feel about barre, but I felt like I got a good work out out of it. I haven’t really found a workout routine that I enjoy yet, but I have taken some Zumba classes that I have really enjoyed.

On Thursday I had the chance to meet Aimee Song, blogger of Song of Style, and she was very sweet and looked amazing in her Micheal Kors outfit. I found it inspiring to meet someone who started out blogging in San Francisco and has made her career out of it.

And today I spent my morning at Jones celebrating Jennifer’s birthday with a fabulous brunch. Jennifer is the blogger behind Just Add Glam and I am excited to hear she’ll be part of a panel for PoshFest, which is only 2 weeks away! I need to start my outfits for that weekend.

Hope you had a great weekend and until next time,

Fall Plaid

Grey Plaid Jacket L.A.M.B. | White T-Shirt Kenar | Arrowhead Druzy Necklace ZAD c/o LE TOTE | Buckle Down Bracelet in Gold Urban Gem | Black Ruched Pencil Skirt H&M (similar here) | Legacy Black Handbag JUST FAB (here) | Black Patent Pigalle Heels Christian Louboutin (here) | Jackie Ohh II in Black Ray-Ban (here) | Le Rouge Lipstick Carmin Escarpin 306 Givenchy (here) The Bay Area has been experiencing a mini heat wave which has thrown me off when it comes to getting ready in the morning. Salted Caramel Hot Chocolates are back at Starbucks, but the weather is not cold enough for me to want to enjoy them.

I love warm weather and being able to wear sun dresses, but I also have a thing for Fall. I really enjoy the changing color of the leaves, drinking hot chocolate on cold days, and, of course, Fall fashion. I won’t be dusting off my boots and coats just yet since this weekend is also expected to be warm. Until then, I’ll start incorporating Fall pieces little by little into my outfits.

This skirt is actually no longer in my closet, but it was so fun to wear! It belonged to my mom and every now and then she will give me a bag of things to either take to Crossroads Trading Co. or list on Poshmark. I decided to wear it first before letting it go and it was very fun to style. It sold on Poshmark a couple of weeks ago and it might have had to do with the fact I listed it using photos from this shoot. Having great cover photos can really help with making more sales on Poshmark.

Speaking of sales, I have made quite a few this week and I am pretty excited about that. There have been a few items in My Likes that I have been eyeing, so I might make the leap and buy them once I receive payment from my recent sales. I am looking forward to Poshfest coming up next month and even more excited to dress up for it. If you haven’t join the Poshmark app, I definitely recommend it!

Hope you are having a great week so far!

Customized

Jade Green Cotton Knit Fit and Flare Dress c/o eShatki | Green and Black Everest Statement Necklace Poshmark | Black Blazer Forever 21 | Rose Gold Watch Marc by Marc Jacobs | Ulltra Black Patent Pumps Steve Madden (similar here) | Black Legacy Satchel JUST FABSeptember is coming to an end, but luckily we are still experiencing some sunny weather in the Bay Area. The fog roles in occasionally, but that doesn’t stop me from reaching for bright colored dresses. This is one of those dresses that can easily transition into Fall with boots and a cardigan. I received this dress from eShatki last month and really enjoyed my experience with their site.

If you have never heard of eShatki before, then you are in for a treat. eShatki is a website where you can order clothes that can be customized when you order them. Their philosophy is “All women have the right to wear affordable fashion that is made for them and makes them look their absolute best.” I am all for their philosophy and am amazed they have dresses for every size (0 – 36W)  While I was browsing the site, I spotted this dress and fell in love with the 50’s vintage style of it. I loved how feminine it is thanks to the pleats and thought the color was pretty bold. I paired it with a masculine watch and black blazer to tone it down, but I love it more without the blazer.

For this dress, I was able to adjust the sleeve length, skirt length and whether the dress came with pockets. A major bonus from the site is that your first order’s customization is free. After that, the fee for customization is $7.50, not a bad deal for a dress that can be made to fit you. I thought the quality of the dress was great for the price, but I will report back after it is cleaned to see how it holds up. In retrospect I might have gone with a shorter hemline, but it was fun having the option to customize my dress.

Will you be ordering any of your Fall clothes from eShatki? I would love to know if there is anything you’ll have to have in your closet once you check out their site!

I am still thinking of the female game-changers in my life, and I have to say has been nice reflecting on that. Make sure to check out my LUNAFEST post to see what inspired this reflection.

Until next time,
