I love Friday, but I love the Friday’s of a three day weekend even more! This week was a little intense for me not just because I’ve been trying to keep up a post a day for this blog series, but also because of the cupcake decorating and the amount of work that I got through this week. Lately it has felt like the days have been going by faster and I feel I’ve been busier. It feels good to be productive, but I am looking forward to relaxing this weekend.
Today’s dress is a black and white print dress in a body-hugging fabric. I found this DVF piece at Nordstrom Rack and it is not often I splurge on designer pieces. When I tried this on though, it had to come home with me. It is hard for me to resist buying something when I feel good in it and like how it looks on me. The print is very versatile and I’ve worn it before with red pumps and red lips. It is great for work, but I can easily see it working for a date. I’ve been using my Kate Spade pen necklace in a lot of my outfits for work and can’t get enough of it. It is the perfect accessory for all of my DVF dresses.
