Every now and then I like to experiment with my hair style, which is why you’ll see me more often with straight hair. I like to try different up-do’s too and I finally tried the sock bun out using a Conair Bun Maker Kit. For my first time, I think it came out pretty well (and looks cute!)
I wanted a girly but professional look to go with the sock bun, so I decided to wear my silk pink top with gold and black detail and paired it with my thrifted blazer. I thought the two pieces would work not only because of the contrast of feminine and masculine pieces, but also because of the gold and black stripe details. I added gold accessories and flats to complete the look. I am loving my hashtag earrings and have worn them a lot in the past few months. They were a find from Crossroads Trading Co. and are now my favorite pair because they go with everything! And, as someone now involved with social media, are also kind of of funny to me.
