If you want to get your hands on one I would stop by @izzyshoegal closet. I also spotted it on eBay for a little more here, but you can get a better deal on Poshmark. I’ve been sharing a lot of outfits lately that I have worn to work and I thought it’d be nice to dress down and share an outfit I would wear for the weekend while I am running errands or going shopping in. The top is versatile and can be dressed up or down, but it is very girly with the print and pleated ruffles. I do incorporate extra color with my bag and red lipstick, but I tone the look down just a bit with my neutral trench coat, jeans and metallic flats.

I am glad I am posting this festive print wrap dress today. It is a reprint from DVF’s vintage collection and her name is Jilda. Green and navy have been my favorite colors lately so I am glad I found a dress that combined both colors in a fun pattern. I don’t understand the meaning of the “Y” on the dress, but it also reminded me of someone throwing their hands in the air. I think that is appropriate today since it is meant to be a day to celebrate. If only my panda necklace had its arms in the air…
Speaking of celebration, I made some yummy Margarita cupcakes for today. I will have to post the recipe once my 40 Days of DVF blog series is over. I plan to share a photo via Instagram later today, so be sure to check it out.

Black and White Judy Wrap Dress Diane von Furstenberg (Buy here) | Teal Pumps Giuseppe Zanotti | Nude Satchel JUSTFAB! | Silver Ring Crush | Koi Bracelet Forever 21Day 4 of my 40 Days of DVF blog series features an abstract black and white print wrap dress named Judy. I love wearing wrap dresses to work, although they can be worn for just about any occasion. I found this dress and the teal pumps at Crossroads Trading Co. I feel like I have good luck when it comes to thrifting since the heels looked like they had never been worn. I got them at an insane price too so I could not pass them up. I paired the teal pumps and koi bracelet to add a pop of color to my black and white dress. The abstract print on the dress looks like splattered paint, but it also made me think of water on a window pane which inspired me to add the koi bracelet.

I decided to share an outfit with a fun, tropical print paired with a pleated pair of trousers. I initially had the top paired with a pencil skirt, but sometimes I need to change into pants if I plan on going on campus. I leave a pair of shoes in my cubicle to change into in case I am wearing heels or open toe shoes.

It has been hot these past few days in the Bay Area, but this outfit is from early in April after I had my hair braided at the Beauty Company during Sasha Mak’s trunk show. I wanted a romantic look to compliment my braids and decided to tuck in this beautiful DVF purple top with my favorite tulle skirt from Forever 21. I have slowly let go of a lot of clothes from Forever 21, but this skirt is one I intend on keeping it around for a long time.This outfit is perfect for date night, although with the current heat wave I would not be wearing the tights. I don’t typically style my hair differently either, but this hairstyle is something I definitely want to try out again.

It’s a big undertaking for my part since I don’t blog everyday (and don’t own 40 wrap dresses), but I love DVF and want to share my own journey with her pieces.
This first outfit is from earlier last month when I attended Poshmark’s Live Party in SF. I found the dress via Crossroads Trading Co. and I was drawn to the classic silhouette and fun pattern. I kept my accessories neutral so that the dress could stand out on its own. I love how chic it looks with a trench coat and it can stand on its own without a jacket. 
It is safe to say since I’ll be sharing an outfit everyday my posts will be shorter than usual. Hope you enjoy my next DVF look.
