I have moved into a bigger cubicle and am attempting to make the space my own. Until pay day comes around though I am dressing myself cute to decorate the place with my clothes. It is nice to have enough room at the moment to be able to spin around and clear my mind. 
I am really enjoying the warm weather, and excited for my weekend! I’ll be attending the first Cal game (and grand reopening) at the newly retrofitted California Memorial Stadium so stay tuned for a post on that.

Anna Sui x Target Peasant Top

Raspberry Pink Cardigan Forever 21 | Purple Print Peasant Top Anna Sui for Target (here) | Jeans 7 for all Mankind | White Flats Steve MaddenI have classes on Wednesdays night, and to avoid looking too dressed-up I opted for a laid-back, college student outfit. 
It is funny to me to be going back to school and being surrounded by a variety of people. Some have just graduated high school, while others are lifelong learners. Since the class is so late (and chilly because of the A/C being on), I need to dress slightly warm (or in layers.) Such a bummer since I am used to dressing girly on Wednesdays. 
The colors on this outfit have a girly feel and so does the peasant top. I feel this look not only works for class, but also for hanging out at home watching a movie, shopping, or going to brunch with girlfriends.
On a side note, this top is also a find from Crossroads Trading Co, and I will be so happy if I find more Anna Sui items there! I just love how eclectic and quirky the items are!

First Day of Class

My outfit today is inspired by the fall, returning to school, uniforms being worn, and apples being given to teachers.
Despite giving this post a misleading title, at least the outfit can be a little bit more versatile as well. Can be worn when hanging out with friends, or at the mall shopping. This post does pay tribute to the opening in the movie Clueless where plaid is a big trend during the 90’s.

Cardigan, Pants, and Necklace Forever 21 | Pink Silk Marston Top Diane Von Furstenberg (here) | Black Peep Toe Patent Wedges Steve Madden Today I felt like I needed an easy breezy look. Something pulled together, but not restrictive when it came to movement. It was cold this morning as well, I wasn’t in the mood to wear any of my dresses.
Enter this versatile and voluminous pink top. I have worn in tucked into a skirt, but I must say I love the casual vibe it gives off by being untucked. I can also wear it with a black sash to give it an empire waist effect! This top is super cute and one of my finds from Crossroads Trading Co. I love that I can find such high end pieces there on a budget and can incorporate them with my finds from Forever 21.

Color Block

Turquoise Cardigan Audrey Grace | Pink Sleeveless Dress Theory | Reversible Belt H&M |  Pastel Flower Bib Necklace and Tan Flats Forever 21This feels like a strange outfit to me, and not because my hair probably should have been worn up in a bun. It is a lot of color where almost nothing really goes together at first glance. Then you see the necklace and the rest of the outfit makes sense. I do like that it is slightly hidden because once people noticed it they were like “Whoa!”
This necklace is not new, but I find it to be a timeless piece that can always tie together an outfit. The colors really say look-at-me in a good way. Now to find a way to wear them where they are the center of the outfit and not competing with the colors of the dress or cardigan!
