I feel like I’ve been stepping up my print mixing game lately. I love wearing florals, but feel I’ve only recently started investing in striped tops, dresses, and skirts. I picked up this striped skirt from Chicwish last year and unfortunately it is sold out, but I’ve linked a similar one below. I thought I had ordered a navy/white color, but it looks black and white to me.
Love is in the Air – Our Engagement Story
It’s been a year since Armando proposed to me, but I haven’t had a chance to share on the blog how it all happened. It all started with a purse, Kate Spade purse to be precise.

I can’t believe it is already April! I had this outfit post in draft and thought back in March, I need to work on that one outfit post and all of a sudden March is over. We transitioned from one season to another, officially, and I am surprised I haven’t gotten through posting all the outfits in my queue with my long hair.
All Saints
Spring cleaning is in full effect in my small, studio apartment.
I’ve been MIA a lot more often from the blog and social media, and in large part, it is due to being focused on cleaning out my space and clearing out my wardrobe. It takes me a long time to commit to the idea of actually letting go of some pieces, but lately, I’ve been on a posting spree, snapping photos of items, and listing them consistently on the Poshmark App

A late outfit post for Valentine’s Day. Since this year’s holiday was on a Tuesday, Armando and I celebrated the Sunday before with dinner at Skates on the Bay. It is a restaurant along the Berkeley Marina that has an amazing view of SF. Armando was out biking on Sunday and surprised me with the dinner reservation.
Ghirardelli Valentine’s Day Strawberry and Chocolate Bark Recipe
Happy Valentine’s Day!
In honor of the holiday, I decided to share this easy chocolate bark recipe that you can make for your loved ones in less than an hour!
I received the new Ghirardelli Strawberries and Chocolate squares and was inspired by them to make my own bark. The neat thing about chocolate bark is you can add whatever you like, and in this case, I focused on adding Valentine’s Day themed sprinkles. I also chopped up some of the squares I received to add texture to the bark.
I used fresh strawberries to play on strawberries dipped in chocolate, but I’d recommend using freeze dried strawberries so that the bark lasts longer. I also used both dark chocolate and white chocolate and love how the pinks and reds pop on the white chocolate bark.

Ingredients:Ghirardelli Strawberries and Chocolate SquaresGhirardelli White Chocolate ChipsGhirardelli Dark Chocolate ChipsStrawberries (Fresh or freeze-dried)Valentine’s Day Heart Shaped SprinklesDirections:
Heat chocolate up in a microwave safe bowl. I used 3/4 cup dark chocolate and 1/4 cup white chocolate.Place parchment paper on a baking sheet. Pour most of the melted chocolate on the parchment paper after it has cooled a bit to keep it from spreading too far/thin. Spread using an offset spatula. Add toppings to chocolate. Pour leftover chocolate over to help items set. Add more toppings.Place chocolate bark in the fridge and let it set for an hour.Remove from fridge and cut chocolate into pieces.
Give this homemade chocolate dessert to your sweetheart or the sweet people in your life. Enjoy and I hope you have a sweet day!
