Morphine Generation Hoodie

Fur Lined Hoodie Morphine Generation | Scarf Marc Jacobs | T-Shirt Wet Seal | Jeans  J Brand |  Suede Boots  Steve Madden | Sunglasses Ray-Bans
My casual weekend look. It was pretty cold and in case I needed to ride my bike for errands I dressed warm.
I spent the day working on updates for the site. How do you like the new look so far? I am learning a lot about HTML and design as I continue my journey as a blogger. Bare with me as I work out all the kinks.
My boots in this photo are from high school, and despite cleaning out my closet constantly, I have a hard time letting go of clothes. I have a sentimental attachment to a lot of my high school clothes and despite not wearing them, they stick around in my closet. I would rarely wear these boots because I didn’t really have anything to wear with them, but I treasure them because they were a Christmas gift from my mom my junior year in high school.
I found this hoodie 2 months ago at a Goodwill, and right away fell in love with the washed out look and fur lined hood. The detail in the back is also unexpected, and I love the look overall. Perfect to wear on a day when it is cold and there is no need to really dress up.

THEIT Bossi Bag

Black Camera Bag THEIT (buy here), Grey Sweater Top August Silk, Scarf Marc Jacobs, Black Pants Forever 21, Black Patent Flats Steve Madden, Seashorse Ring Crossroads Trading Co.A late Christmas present has finally arrived!
Say hello to my new, stylish camera bag! This is THEIT Bossi bag in classic black, and I am already in love. The classic quilted look, the removable chain strap with a pad for comfort, and compact shape make it an ideal bag.  I like how the compartments inside are removable and can now protect my camera wherever I go. I can fit quite a bit in this bag with a camera and lens packed in, so I am not too worried about having enough space. I am excited to be taking it to work on Monday in case I need my camera.
I wore a casual outfit today in order to help my sister decorate a cake for a baby shower. The party was in San Francisco so while she attended the baby shower, Mando and I visited the Stonestown Galleria Mall. Here I am posing at an in inconspicuous corner of the mall. Only had a few people staring this time, but everyone seemed to be on a mission at the mall.
I ended up purchasing a few things – doh- but I am proud I didn’t spend a ton of money. I found some bracelets at Forever 21 and used a gift card I had and spent only $17. I ended up going to the Nordstrom Rack on 4th Street with Mando and my sister, Nikki, and purchased some Sam Edelman flats for myself and some wedge sneakers for her. She had cleaned out her closet and I sold some of the items at Crossroads, so I felt this was a good way of paying her back.
Overall, not too much damage. I am still underbudget for the month which is great since I will be going to another shopping event this Wednesday!
Photos of the cake we decorated to come soon!

White Princess Coat

White Princess Coat, Black Patent Ulltra Pumps Steve Madden, Black Dress Laundry by Shelli Segal, Necklace Wet SealHere is my favorite white princess coat I wore on Tuesday! I actually have been wearing the black version of this frequently to work, more often than this one. This one is a little bit harder to wear only because it is white and I would hate to get it dirty!
It is so silly that I fear getting clothes dirty because then I am less likely to wear them. I have to remind myself that the reason I have something is to use it! I know bloggers love to share their favorite items in their closet and talk about how often they wear it. I am the complete opposite. I see some of my items as works of art, especially my designer heels, and dislike the idea of messing them up. I am working on that little quirk of mine so that I wear what I have and not buy more clothes.
I am very proud to say I have also been able to avoid buying any new clothes this month! Woo hoo! I will be attending a fashion event next Wednesday that will be hosted by Crossroads and I might be buying something if I absolutely must have it. I cleaned out my closet and took some clothes to sell last night and made enough for 1 or 2 things at the shopping event. I am trying to be as eco-friendly after all.
Thanks for reading and I hope you’ll check in to see details of the event next week.

Lombard Street

Cream Bomber Jacket, Silver Scarf, Heart, Ring, Skinny Jeans, and Embellished Flats Forever 21, Pink Sweater Trouve, Nude Ruffle Handbag Steve MaddenSometimes it feels awkward to be posing for photos out in the streets of San Francisco (or Berkeley). It feels far less awkward when everyone else around you is also taking photos near a tourist attraction.
Mando really wanted to ride down Lombard Street in his Mini Cooper and once we did that we parked nearby for photos of my outfit and of the steep streets of Lombard. Despite living in the bay area, there are a lot of places we have not seen and are not afraid to act like tourists every now and then.
I am very happy with today’s look. It is one of my favorite casual looks by far because of the soft, girly colors and all of the fun accessories. I don’t get a chance to wear my embellished flats often, and I love that everything I wore matches with the flats.
I like this outfit so much I just might wear it again on purpose! lol
Happy MLK day!

Coral Handbag

Black Blazer Michael Michael Kors, Floral Top, Black Pants, Ring Forever 21, Coral Bag BCBG Generation,  Flats J.CrewSunday I delivered my cupcakes for a birthday party. (Photos coming Wednesday!) I aimed for a polished look since I was going to be a guest at the party too.
This bag is special to me because I won it at a raffle when I attended my first F.A.S.T. fashion show at Berkeley. I spent $2 on raffle tickets and right during intermission my name was called out for it.
Sometimes I can be really lucky.=D

Lace Tank

Cardigan, Jeans, Bangles, and Beanie Forever 21, Lace Detail Tank Kimchi Blue, Scarf Marc Jacobs x Target, Black Overpass Suede Boots Steve MaddenHappy Friday Everyone!
As you can see, I have changed my blog name and own my domain name. I am close to completing my first year of blogging and I wanted to finally settle on a new name so I could start sharing my blog with more people.
Will Bake For Shoes is meant to incorporate my style guide as well as all the cupcake photos for my side business Pandycakes. I actually have an order for this weekend, so it is perfect timing!
I love how my tank has this lace detail that works with the lace detail on my jeans. My tank would also look great tucked in my simple black skirt and with my lace Givenchy tights. It might be possible to wear soon since it was unusually warm today. I am always leaning towards dark clothes during the winter as you can see from my last posts, but with the warmer weather I’ll be busting out some color soon.
Thanks for reading and I hope you like the new title!
