Black Pea Coat

This pea coat and I go way back. I have had it since high school, and it is still a classic winter staple. I’ve taken really good care of it and it saw a lot of wear the first couple of years here in the bay area because of the cold winters. I now feel my black steve madden princess coat is my favorite, but this one will always be the pea coat in my closet.

Today was really cold, just like almost everywhere else in the country, and I have had to wear sweaters and jeans a lot lately. I am really trying to wear what I have and not buy anything new, but the rest of my closet feels slightly neglected because it has been so cold and because I have been doing more walking around at work. By Wednesday I plan on dressing up to break away from this jean and sweater cycle!
