Lombard Street

Cream Bomber Jacket, Silver Scarf, Heart, Ring, Skinny Jeans, and Embellished Flats Forever 21, Pink Sweater Trouve, Nude Ruffle Handbag Steve MaddenSometimes it feels awkward to be posing for photos out in the streets of San Francisco (or Berkeley). It feels far less awkward when everyone else around you is also taking photos near a tourist attraction.
Mando really wanted to ride down Lombard Street in his Mini Cooper and once we did that we parked nearby for photos of my outfit and of the steep streets of Lombard. Despite living in the bay area, there are a lot of places we have not seen and are not afraid to act like tourists every now and then.
I am very happy with today’s look. It is one of my favorite casual looks by far because of the soft, girly colors and all of the fun accessories. I don’t get a chance to wear my embellished flats often, and I love that everything I wore matches with the flats.
I like this outfit so much I just might wear it again on purpose! lol
Happy MLK day!

Coral Handbag

Black Blazer Michael Michael Kors, Floral Top, Black Pants, Ring Forever 21, Coral Bag BCBG Generation,  Flats J.CrewSunday I delivered my cupcakes for a birthday party. (Photos coming Wednesday!) I aimed for a polished look since I was going to be a guest at the party too.
This bag is special to me because I won it at a raffle when I attended my first F.A.S.T. fashion show at Berkeley. I spent $2 on raffle tickets and right during intermission my name was called out for it.
Sometimes I can be really lucky.=D

Bike Ride

Jacket Members Only, T-Shirt and Jeans Forever 21, Sunglasses Ray Bans, Sneakers Converse,  Road Bike Schwinn Women’s Wayfarer
Saturday was spent biking around in San Francisco. Armando and I rode up and down the streets of SF looking for “the Wiggle”. We were lost at first, but found it and rode it to Golden Gate Park. We had a few snacks, and the weather was perfect for our bike trip.
I wore my Members Only jacket to match the pink detail of my bike. I like how my helmet and jacket make me look like I am going to race.
Off to bake cupcakes for a birthday party. I will make sure to share photos tomorrow too!

Lace Tank

Cardigan, Jeans, Bangles, and Beanie Forever 21, Lace Detail Tank Kimchi Blue, Scarf Marc Jacobs x Target, Black Overpass Suede Boots Steve MaddenHappy Friday Everyone!
As you can see, I have changed my blog name and own my domain name. I am close to completing my first year of blogging and I wanted to finally settle on a new name so I could start sharing my blog with more people.
Will Bake For Shoes is meant to incorporate my style guide as well as all the cupcake photos for my side business Pandycakes. I actually have an order for this weekend, so it is perfect timing!
I love how my tank has this lace detail that works with the lace detail on my jeans. My tank would also look great tucked in my simple black skirt and with my lace Givenchy tights. It might be possible to wear soon since it was unusually warm today. I am always leaning towards dark clothes during the winter as you can see from my last posts, but with the warmer weather I’ll be busting out some color soon.
Thanks for reading and I hope you like the new title!

Touch of Pink

Black Princess Coat Steve Madden | Pleated Cardigan Merona | Pink Marston Silk Top Diane Von Furstenberg | Skirt and Necklace Forever 21 | Black Leggings H&M | Scarf Marc Jacobs Neiman Marcus x Target | Black Zeda Boots Madden GirlA little pop of color to an all black outfit. I liked how my teardrop statement necklace almost looks pink against my top. I was glad to be dressed up today and I look forward to being able to wear heels and not worry about walking around campus. Until then, comfortable shoes are a must! I tend to stray away from jewelry during cold days because it is just not practical and competes with scarfs and gloves. Today I feel I found a balance with my necklace and scarf. They work really well together!
I have been working on my closet clean out during my spare time. I’ll be taking some items to Crossroads and I will also be posting some items to my Poshmark account. At the moment I have about 3 listings but I will get around updating it by this weekend. I would rather not be too overwhelmed by posting all of my items but plan to take my winter clothes to Crossroads and selling my spring/summer clothes on Poshmark. This way I can clear out my apartment sooner rather than later. Check it out and I will follow your closet back if you follow mine!

Black Pea Coat

Pea Coat Rave, Black Cowl Neck Sweater NY&C, Infinity Scarf Missoni for Target, Earmuffs Material Girl, Jeans and Ring Forever 21, Boots BambooThis pea coat and I go way back. I have had it since high school, and it is still a classic winter staple. I’ve taken really good care of it and it saw a lot of wear the first couple of years here in the bay area because of the cold winters. I now feel my black steve madden princess coat is my favorite, but this one will always be the pea coat in my closet.

Today was really cold, just like almost everywhere else in the country, and I have had to wear sweaters and jeans a lot lately. I am really trying to wear what I have and not buy anything new, but the rest of my closet feels slightly neglected because it has been so cold and because I have been doing more walking around at work. By Wednesday I plan on dressing up to break away from this jean and sweater cycle!

Stay warm and thanks for reading!
