Black Wrap Dress Diane von Furstenberg | Bracelets Forever 21 | Panda Charm Necklace Betsey Johnson | Purse Mulberry for Target | Black Patent Pumps Steve MaddenToday I felt inspired by Audrey Hepburn. I felt like I didn’t want to put to much thought into my look, but wanted to look chic today. This little black dress and minimal jewelry fit the criteria. The girly touches like the bow in the bracelet and the dress keep it from looking too serious.
Hope you had a lovely, and chic, Monday!

Laundry Day
Black Pea Coat, Black Leggings, Studded Belt, and Silver Stud Bracelet Forever 21 | Pink Bondage Dress Stella McCartney | Infinity Scarf Missoni for Target | Grey Suede Boots BambooAs my title indicates, I spent my Sunday doing laundry. I wanted to be dressed in something comfortable as I take my laundry across and come back to my apartment and continue my eBay posting. Unfortunately I am not close to finished, but it is coming along.
I am really proud of my outfit today because it is a complete mesh of two other outfits I have worn here and here. Often times I am more interested in reinventing what I already have as opposed to buying a completely new outfit. I can’t resist shopping, but it is an extra pat on the back knowing I can be a little creative.
Hope you had a good weekend and are rested for another wonderful week! Now to get back to posting my clothes on eBay!

Cleaning out My Closet
Being a serial thrifter leads to eventually having too many things in my closet. While it sounds like I would have more to wear because I have so many options, the reality is it becomes more challenging to find something since stuff can be forgotten (out of sight, out of mind) or can prevent one from being creative because there is so many options.
I have purged my closet, and now I am finally getting around to posting items on eBay. My typical routine in terms of cleaning out my closet is as follows.
1) Separate clothes in to three piles: -To donate-To sell-To trade/DIY
2) Take out of style clothes and donate to Goodwill or Out of the Closet
3) Take clothes still in season or unused to sell at Crossroads Trading Co. or Buffalo Exchange.
4) Post clothes that didn’t sell at CrossroadsTrading or Buffalo Exchange on eBay.
5) The third pile I either give to my mom or sister because it suits their style, or attempt a DIY project with items that just need a small update.
Currently I am in stage 4, and I had been putting it of because I have made more trips back home and because I am usually busy with taking blog photos to worry about posting items on eBay. However, now that I have a weekend free (and have a pile of stuff that needs to be posted) I am finally posting items. If you need to make extra cash, eBay or etsy is the place to go when you have unique or designer pieces. I say this because this is what contributed to my full closet! What goes around comes around.

Pajama Dress
Purple Dress Nanette Lepore | Black Cardigan and Gold Ring Forever 21 | Gold buckle belt Vintage via Crossroads Trading Co. | Black Pumps Steve Madden | Black Bag Mulberry for TargetFinally back to dressing up again! This cold is almost gone except for a lingering cough.
I admire the color combo I chose today. I knew black and gold worked together, but who would have thought this light purple would look so regal. I have worn this dress before, but it was a lot more casual as seen here. I like both looks, so this purple dress is going to be seen again and again. It is so versatile, and comfortable!

Oscar de la Renta Scarf
Cream Bomber Jacket Forever 21 | Printed Silk Scarf Oscar de la Renta | Black Top Wet Seal | Blue Jeans J Brand | Tan Suede Hoops Boots Steve Madden | Speedy 25 Bag Louis Vuitton | Seahorse Double Ring via Crossroads Trading Co.New scarf! And a new purse!
The scarf is actually thrifted from a Savers, and you will not believe how much I paid for it.
$1.99
Score! This scarf was a steal, and I was super excited with this find. It has an amazing pattern and soft, silky texture.
Today’s look has a lot going on, but because it is all in the same color pallete, it works. Colorful scarves can be a good start to an outfit because the rest of the pieces can easily fall into place from colors of the print. My new purse can be attributed to my friend Jessica helping her sister clean out her closet and Mando still looking for the ideal birthday present. This is my first day using it, and so far it fits just the essentials plus my camera. Super excited with my gift and hopefully putting it to more use with other outfits!

Infinity Scarf
Black Peacoat, Black Pants, and Panda Ring Forever 21 | Infinity Scarf Missoni for Target | Grey Suede Boots BambooI am doing a lot better, but not quite over my cold. While I am not a fan of being sick, I am kind of glad to have had the time off to relax and really just rest. Doing nothing is so underrated, especially in such a fast-paced world we live in. It was nice to slow down and really just relax.
I wanted to dress cozy, and as seen from my last post, an essential piece for Fall weather is an infinity scarf! This adds instant style cred and keeps your neck warm. This particular scarf is from Missoni’s line for Target. I love the black, white, and grey print (especially because I wear so much black!)
