Leopard Wrap Dress

Leopard Print Dress Diane von Furstenberg | Black Patent Pumps Steve Madden | Panda Charm Necklace Betsey Johnson | Ring Forever 21One of my favorite looks for the office has got to be wearing a wrap dress. It is very classy with its iconic silhouette, but still fashion-forward and edgy with the bright, colored pattern. This green and blue leopard print wrap dress is from DVF’s vintage collection. Love the french cuffs on this dress. Despite feeling a little under the weather, this dress helps me look my best.

Little White Dress

Turquoise Cardigan Audrey Grace | White Polka Dot Dress Alice + Olivia | Mint and Pink Bangles Forever 21 | Pink Ballet Patent Flats Steve Madden
A white dress is a must have to own. Everyone talks about the little black dress, but come summertime the little white dress is just as important.
As you can see, it acts as the perfect base for my pastel colors. Nothing seems to match at first glance, but the bangles ties the other pieces together.
Simple way of reusing pieces in your wardrobe, as seen before here, and getting a new look with a white dress. What would you wear with your little white dress?

Peasant Top

Kimono Sleeve Peasant Top, Tank Top, and Chandelier Earrings Forever 21 | Jeans Anchor Blue | Gold Metallic Flats Madden Girl
Today’s activities included me babysitting my 2 nephews and niece. I decided to take them to the park, which led to me wear some jeans for the day. I wanted to wear an easy-going top, so I opted for the Peasant blouse. After that, the earrings fell into place because I wanted to wear some jewelry, but nothing I could lose easily.
To change it up, I would wear the blouse with some cut-offs, short boots, and feathers for a true bohemian look.

Dress as a Top

Raspberry Pink Cardigan, Tan Bow Flats, and Pink Bow Ring Forever 21 | Yellow and Pink Ruffle Dress (worn as top) Rebecca Taylor | Blue Skinny Jeans J BrandThis is a very strange blog post, and it is exactly what you think. My top is actually a dress and I have worn it before here. Tucking the dress in these jeans and having my hair pulled back gave off a retro vibe (I was aiming for a seventies look with the bright colored “top”).

Often times when people think of wearing a dress again, changing the accessories is the first thought when it comes to reworking it. This post shows there is always the option of tucking into a pair of jeans, or into a skirt, for an entirely new look. Perfect if you are on a budget or traveling and need to to rework the clothes you have packed with you.

Pink Knit Tunic

Blazer Rebecca Taylor | Pink Knit Tunic Trouve | Leggings, Butterfly Ring, and Necklace Forever 21 | Pink Flats Steve MaddenI have a class on Wednesday nights. I wanted a look that is pulled together but that would still be comfortable for a night at class. I mixed two outfits together that I’ve worn before in this look and was really happy with the result. I feel very accomplished when two different outfits can be combined in my closet and create a new look. I like to celebrate small victories like that since it shows my wardrobe isn’t a hot mess..

I wore my Trouve tunic and Forever 21 leggings here and the Rebecca Taylor blazer and Steve Madden Flats here. Which look is your favorite?

Green Shirt Dress

Green Leaf Print Shirt Dress Diane von Furstenberg | Jean Jacket Heritage 1981, | Cream  Bow Espadrilles Wedges Wet Seal | Moving Turtle Ring Full Tilt Here is my Tuesday Outfit!
Today I was inspired by my green shirt dress. I wanted my relaxed, weekend look to carry over to work, and I picked this easy, work-appropriate dress. The skirt hits well below the knee and is long sleeved. Pairing it with my cropped jean jacket and wedges helped give the appearance that I looked taller.
This dress is interesting because halfway it has the option to wrap the top around your waist. My midriff could be showing, but because I was wearing it to work, I opted against that option. I love the large leaf print and the full skirt.  I felt very bohemian chic because of how easy the look was to put together and pull off. I could see myself wearing the dress again for the weekend, going to a flea market, or even to a picnic.
