More like 3 hours because it was a lazy Sunday. Today’s outfit wasn’t entirely fit for the warm weather, but it worked when it cooled in the afternoon.
I went with Mando and my sister, and we found a nice amount of goodies. My 2 favorite finds were a Kitchen Aid handheld mixer for $10 and a cupcake carrier for only $8. I love a good deal, and I am a firm believer that haggling for the best deal is a good way to practice negotiation skills. I think a lot of the time people are afraid of asking for a lower price, but even a dollar or 2 off is a good start to saving money.

I know the collegiate look was in last fall, but I could not help wearing something so easy to wear! it is a style staple to me, and it doesn’t hurt that it has the initial of my first name! I wore a Letterman jacket for my senior photo in high school, and when I was voted “Most Busiest” in order to capture all the things I was involved in. Although with that look I wore heels, so there are many options when wearing a Letterman jacket. Today I tried to go along with a relaxed, but busy, day.
I think the classic pair of Converse and ripped jeans really complete the look, don’t you?

Today it is very sleek and seductive! Body-hugging dress and voluminous hair further enhances the effect of the killer heels.
Very happy with this look, as you can tell, and sometimes I wish I could be so lucky as to score good deals like I did with the heels and dress.
Tomorrow I’ll be taking a tour of a facility our office owns, and it will mean comfortable closed-toe shoes. So before that happened I needed to wear some serious stilettos and look good before having to dress down.

I should tell you all about my crazy weekend. I am now known as “Sleeping Beauty” at work around the paintball gang just because I slept for 11 hours after playing in the intense heat in Santa Clara. This dress has a silky nightgown effect to honor my new found nickname.
I got home and threw on my Liberty of London for Target flower print dress and went out to meet Jessica for some Froyo at Yogurt Park. My eyes were feeling heavy and I got back and was going to take a photo, but decided to rest and passed out. I woke up at 11:38 p.m. and decided it was time to go back to bed. The next morning I woke up and felt like it was the best night of sleep ever!
I went out to watch Magic Mike Sunday afternoon with my friend (and co-worker) Bernadette. Not much to be said about the movie’s plot, but the dancing was amazing and Channing Tatum brought the magic! The best part of the movie experience was watching it in a really small, old theater. This theater only had two rooms. It felt really cozy, and it was located right across the street of the stationary store I used to work at.

Studded Belt

I wore this dress because of a presentation, and because it is 100% wool, and seemed like a good idea to wear since it looked like it would be cold this morning. I wore it with my black Steve Madden Princess coat over it.
This dress works well with my body type, and it was perfect for the presentation I helped out with during a meeting. I found this lovely at a Crossroads Trading Co. I love how it hugs my curves and how the color compliments my skin tone.
The belt is from Forever 21, and it is a replica of the belt Carrie Bradshaw wears in the Sex and the City The Movie. It was worn in so many ways, and at one point with a pink dress! I took some style inspiration from the movie and cannot wait to use this lovely studded belt with other outfits since it has proven to be pretty versatile on screen already.
