I was dressed down (and rocking a bright green Member’s Only Jacket), but I did not take a full outfit shot. 
Since I went to work dressed down, I felt I needed to really step it up with my outfit today. It was cloudy, and I felt the pretty colors in this outfit were necessary for the day (as well as the sequins and ruffles.)
I love this outfit, especially because, aside from the ring everything, is thrifted. My favorite question at work was if I made the outfit. I am glad that I was able to find the pieces in 3 different locations and put it together because they seem as if they were meant for each other. If only I had worn it to a party, but then again everyday is one for me when I enter my closet.

I had a meeting today that I wanted to look pulled-together for, but also have a soft, feminine feel to it. I think I pulled it off with the pleats and soft pink color from this DVF Jules dress. I took the sash from another top to tone down the volume of this dress.

I added a pleated blazer to go with the theme of pleats. 
Of course I could not resist having fun with the accessories! Life is to short to not wear ridiculously over-sized rings. I am also love the Betsey Johnson flower earrings. I felt the color and the petal details really matches with the dress.

White Blazer Silence + Noise | Teal Shift Dress and Fish Cuff Bracelet Forever 21 | Tan Belt Vintage | Nude Patent Ulltra Pumps Steve Madden | Tortoise Shell Sunglasses Tory BurchYesterday’s outfit was a thrifted find, and I had to note that the bottoms were originally gaucho style, so a lot longer and wider. Needless to say, not very flattering or current. I had the suit altered, but now I am interested in learning how to do that, especially to stay on budget.
Today’s outfit has 2 thrifted items: the blazer and the belt. The blazer I discovered at Goodwill, and the belt is from Crossroads Trading Co. The dress is from my mom’s closet, so I am stretching my dollars even more. Sometimes I really like having an outfit on so much, it is almost hard to go workout after work. Yesterday I felt so tired after uploading photos all I did was go to my bed and fall asleep. Eventually I will have more energy, so until that happens I’ll at least keep posting my outfit photos.
