First Day of Class

Navy Cardigan Forever 21 | Red Plaid Skirt Burberry | Apple Ring Full Tilt | Gold Venus Flats CoachFirst day of class for the University, and It might sound like I am repeating Wednesday’s title, but it should probably be reversed. My outfit today is inspired by the fall, returning to school, uniforms being worn, and apples being given to teachers.
Despite giving this post a misleading title, at least the outfit can be a little bit more versatile as well. Can be worn when hanging out with friends, or at the mall shopping. This post does pay tribute to the opening in the movie Clueless where plaid is a big trend during the 90’s.

First Day of School

Black Blazer Zara Women | White Chiffon Tank Ali & Kris | Black Vest Wet Seal | Skinny Blue Jeans 7 for All Mankind | Chain Necklace and Spike Rings Forever 21Late post, I know, but I started school Wednesday night in the evening to learn more about Radiation Safety.
I tried to dress warm since I know the evenings are going to start getting colder. I used to have this big fear of the first day of school It is exciting, but at the same time your outfit sets the tone for the rest of the year (or semester). I was aiming for a pulled-together look, in classic colors, that almost indicated I was low-key, but all the detail says otherwise.
It was a fun class, and I learned a lot for the first day. Now to power through my first homework assignment. (math problems). Wish me luck!

Yellow and Red

Black Cardigan, Red Skirt, and Ring Forever 21 | Yellow Ruffle Top  Diane Von Furstenberg | Black Ulltra Pumps Steve Madden (Similar look here)

Back to dressing up again. After two days of wearing jeans, Converse, and a T-Shirt, I felt the need to put on a skirt and look a little girly.

I was inspired by fall colors, and I ended up taking my photos by a DHL delivery truck. It was an interesting coincidence to be wearing the same colors as the truck. I would never think of wearing red and yellow together, but somehow the combination works. I used the red polka-dot details in the yellow DVF top to pair it with my red high waist skirt. Black felt like a good neutral to tie the whole look together.

Tomorrow is my first day of class in the evening, and I will need to go back to wearing pants in order to stay warm. (Boo!) At least I got to show off my legs today!

Cartoon Baseball Tee

Neon Green Track Jacket Members Only | Yoshi Baseball Tee | Destroyed Black Jeans Forever 21 | White Leather Lo-Top Sneakers Converse I know these last two posts are late, but I have been so busy preparing for my younger sister’s birthday and our Lab Safety Booth at Caltopia. This is my Friday outfit, and I had to wear jeans in order to move stuff around from the office to the Caltopia venue.
So far I have not been able to locate a photo of me from today (Sunday), but it is pretty similar. Our t-shirt for the event has a bear logo, and I wore grey skinny jeans, and the same sneakers. It was a great outfit overall, especially because I am not usually a fan of big t-shirts. The colors worked very well, and it must be because I am proud of the t-shirt I designed.
Time to repeat the madness of the booth tomorrow. Wish me luck!
