The mornings have been cold, but the afternoons warm up slightly. I had a cardigan earlier (and my black princess coat over my outfit) to stay warm. I really want the days to warm up so I can wear my summer dresses. I love how in these photos the cream dress is similar to the color of the railing. 
Most of the photos on my blog have been updated, and I am devoting more time to my blog lately. So much so that I have neglected to maintain my apartment. I spent the afternoon cleaning my kitchen and living room, and I shall tackle the closet/ bathroom tomorrow.

The Members Only jackets have become a part of my weekend uniform, and I have almost worn all the jackets that I own. I think I currently have one left, but I am always on the look out for more jackets since they are so comfortable and remind me of the eighties!

Blue Trench

Although I am not too creative in how I wear it. So far I’ve paired it with the same trench blue coat as last time.
Today was a different type of experience at work. My afternoon was full of meetings, and most were fun because it was related to the video committee I am now a part of. We scoped the lab we would be using to film our first safety video, and afterwards I met up to write a shot list at a nearby cafe. I am finally utilizing my English degree by writing a “script” for our movie!
I cannot wait to see the end result, but I must tidy up the script we worked on first. I am glad the office allows me to be creative, not just with my clothes, but with the actual work I get to do.

Hot Pink Dress

Although I did not do a bun, I did decide to do my Half-Up, Half-Down hairstyle that I was obsessed with in high school. My other go-to looks were ponytails and my hair down, and today the hair down look is prominent in most (almost all) of my blog posts.
Since my hair was out of the way today, I was able to wear some cute earrings! It is not only strange to see me with earrings (since when my hair is down you can’t see them), but I am wearing earrings of a different color than my dress!  *gasp*
 I am not as matchy-matchy as usual, and I can see how I can dress without certain things needing to match. I really like how the pink and aqua colors work well with each other. Although the gold is the only thing that matches (cuff, buttons, and dress zipper), I am very proud of myself for putting this together and not having everything need to match. Maybe it is a sign I am becoming a sophisticated adult? 
Or that some advice is worth taking. (Thanks Lorie!)
